It's official, Wolf is 5!!! He had a great time at school on Thursday - they had a banner for him and special crown. Mike and I came and brought cupcakes (spiderweb with bug rings) and read two books. The kids sang us a duck song, so very snuggly. Grandma and Grandpa came in the afternoon and that night we opened a bunch of loot.
Saturday was the Bug Party. We invited 24 kids and ended up with 20. The weather the night before were full of tornado warnings, but the day of was beautiful. Thank goodness, an indoor bug hunt isn't quite the same. My favorite part of the party was the bug eating contest (bugs = choco sprinkles). The day before the kids found a live scorpion on the bounce house in the basement, so we put it in a jar and it was our token "live" bug that was passed around.
