Labor Day Camping

Our last camping trip of the year was a fun one. We ended up driving up early on Saturday and packed up late on Sunday after the camp host warned us of severe thunderstorms moving in. It's amazing how quickly we had it broken down - as the kids sang "what kind of work....TEAMWORK!" the entire time.

Otherwise, the weather was nice. It rained each afternoon after lunch, which cooled things down. We went for a nice hike to two waterfalls (Wolf complained were only a trickle); 600 steps down and 600 steps up.

We put our tents on one site, and the eating area on the other pad.

A crazy amount of biking was done in a 2-day period.

 Playing in the rain.

Getting the fire ready for smores.

Beautiful views on the hike down.

The "waterfall" is behind us, a little anti-climatic.

Skya loves her tickleys.
