Summer Camping

We went camping with our neighbors to Lake Hartwell (SC). Although it was hot, the lake was close by and the water was cool. Mike and the kids went up on Wednesday and I joined them on Friday. Saturday we rented a pontoon boat and found a rope swing which was a hit with the kids.

We love the simple days of camping when the kids can spend hours digging in the dirt and catching bugs.

We made friends with an older couple in the site next to us; they had a beautiful RV and were kind enough to give us the the grand tour. This was only one of the three tv's they had on board. Made it possible for us to all watch the opening ceremony of the Olympics.

Wolf was a great Captain of the pontoon boat.

The Deet enjoyed being on the water again and swimming in the lake.

Mike was the first brave one to try the rope swing. The kids were quick to follow.
