Day at the Museum

We visited the Tellus Museum today in Cartersville, GA. The kids were super excited, waking me up at 7am so we could get there when it opened at 10am. It was great - we were the first in the museum and didn't see anyone for 20 minutes.

Our first stop was the fossil dig and panning for rocks...to ensure that we got all the good rocks before the crowds.

I wanted to take the mirror that made me look tall and super-skinny home with me.

We had a nice picnic lunch in the shade as we watched the crowds pile in.

Impressive 100-ton dump truck.
