Boo at the Zoo

While Mike went mountain biking for the weekend, the kids and I visited Boo at the Zoo. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that kids could dress up - but afterwards I was glad they didn't, think they were much more comfortable in their street clothes. There were candy booths throughout the park to trick-or-treat at.

Now the kids are bigger, it's much easier to tool around with them. They didn't fight me when I suggested we start at the back of the park and avoid the crowds - worked beautifully and we had a great day.

Who knew that the bamboo throughout the park would be a highlight.

This was my least favorite - M O L E S. Of course the hairless rodents were Wolf's fav.
Trick-or-treating at one of the booths.
We spent the majority of our time at the reptile facilty.

 This snake was my favorite.

 Bamboo...again.

We stopped and had a snack, Skylar took the time to boogie around to the music.
They loved the hay maze, went through it a bunch of times.

They loved when one of the goats pooped while they were petting it - I did not take pictures.

After the zoo, we went to my favorite Tapas restaurant.
 Homemade hummus.

Hummus carcass after Skylar got through with it.
We dropped Wolf off at a bowling birthday party and got mini-sundaes at Chick-fil-A. Of course we had to take pictures to tease Wolf.
