This was one of my favorite family trips...and one of the cheapest. The "cabin" we rented was on the creek, although it was too cold to sit out on the deck much. And, it actually dusted snow which was amazing to the kids. Wolf kept saying "Snow is like gold to us".
We went on one of the coldest hikes I've ever been on, and the kids were troopers - no complaining. They were so excited to see real icicles.
Overall, the area was beautiful, Skylar wants to go back in the summer.
